No Baby Should Be Born With HIV. What Will It Take to Save Them All?

In the fall of 2010, Masonia Traylor’s life changed overnight. Then 23, she was living with her new boyfriend in Atlanta and working as a pharmacy technician at a nearby drugstore. She took good care of herself, always went for an annual checkup, and ever since she graduated from high school, she had made it a practice to get tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Penguatan Layanan Deteksi Dini pada Bayi dan Balita

Pusat Penelitian HIV & AIDS (PPH) Unika Atma Jaya bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia melakukan penelitian operasional “Penguatan Layanan Deteksi Dini pada Bayi dan Balita dalam Program Pencegahan Penularan HIV dari Ibu ke Anak (PPIA) di DKI Jakarta”.

Tujuan dari penelitian operasional ini adalah:

(1) Mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan layanan PPIA pada puskesmas sebagai layanan primer sebagai penyedia layanan deteksi dini tes HIV pada balita dan sejauh mana program MTBS (Manajemen terpadu Balita Sakit) dan MTBM (Manajemen Terpadu Bayi Muda) bisa diintegrasikan dengan layanan PPIA; read more
